Competition: Design for pharmacies, combating drug-resistant infection

One of the IDAPPS research outputs is a competition, and we’re asking small design practices, architects, information designers and pharmacists to help us.

On 16 February 2018, we launched the Call for Expressions of Interest to enter. We want to attract design teams that may include architects, information designers, behavioural scientists, and human factors / ergonomics specialists to bring ideas for an engaging, inspirational, didactic information space to raise awareness of the dangers of anti-microbial resistance in a community pharmacy.

Competition teams will begin designing in our Ideas Lab on 30 April/ 1 May 2018, where we will provide advice, inspiration and context.  Our pharmacy partner is Day Lewis and the winning design will be installed in a Day Lewis pharmacy for evaluation.
